This started as a fun idea. Then, by the time I had finished the ground, I was ready to scoop my eyeballs out. Not my proudest work, but if I were to go at it again I think I'd mimic the Dragon Fly's style and create a display case of these bugs. This is what the learning process looks like, baby! Another quick note on design: This piece really lacks a unifying style. Everything in it is something different. This is more of a sketchbook of ideas than a final product. All the insects are different amalgamations of style. The varying background features don't share a common thread. The title was just plopped on.
