Describe the visible physical changes

The creature has quite noticeably shed aside its human features. In the 24 day molting period that began after contact with the contagion, the skeletal system showed rapid growth, most noticeably along the spinal column, which had rapid vertical and upwards growth. Extensions began protruding from this central trunk. Until finally, on the eve of this beings full coming into form, the skin and flesh seemed to just molt off, to reveal a glistening set of pine needles and intricate woodwork, that twists and tangles like the thoughts of a madman. A void has appeared where there once was a mouth, it defies logic and seems to be boundless, as none of its prey ever leaves the beast's body in any way. All previous resemblance to its former self is gone except for two of its eyes (which constantly dart around in an endless search of prey) and a t-shirt (that actually fits now... isn't that neat?).


Are there any physical changes that are not visible? If so, describe.

After closer inspection it is possible to notice a slight change in the molecular composition. Where there was once a healthy variety of compounds and elements, all of the subject's atomic structures have been replaced with variations of hydrogen and oxygen. This is baffling to scientists around the globe, how could the body of this very real, very sturdy tree-man hybrid be solely composed of variations of the HOHOHO compound? Many biologists have abandoned their coats (as well as their mental faculties) and converted to a religion based around the worship of this ungodly creature.

What emotional changes have you noticed?

All tangible emotional connections have been abandoned with its former self. The creature has been left with only with an intense focus to complete whatever desire forms in the creature's primal mind.

Has it gained any unusual skills or abilities? Describe.

In exchange for uncanny amounts of dexterity, power, and hunting prowess, the creature gave up the ability to play one man frisbee- so really it's an even trade off.

Have you noticed any changes in habits? Describe.

The beast clearly has a scent for blood. While the mechanics behind its movement are incomprehensible, it very clearly craves the essence of others. Few escape with their lives after being marked by the beast. The beast's hunting rituals are quite peculiar. After choosing it's target (as signified by replacing all of the chosen's possessions with mounds of tinsel), the beast will find and consume its prey. Afterwards, it will take the socks of its prey, gift wrap them, and send them out to all of the prey's beloved (What an awful gift!).
Have you noticed any changes in food preferences? Describe.
Besides the new taste for human flesh, the creature still pigs out on tons of cookies and sweets.


Has the mutation affected your social life/relationships?

To my surprise, the creature actually managed to retain the same social circle. Apparently, the group of theatre kids the subject used to hang out with, preach messages of acceptance and praise those who differ from the norm. This was all fine and well, until the group was marked as prey, devoured, and left as assorted socks on their families' doorstep.

Has the mutation affected your studies or ability/desire to learn?

From the message the beast scrawled into the side of the school late one Thursday afternoon, it has no intention of pursuing it's academic career. It did, however, leave a second, smaller scrawling with instructions on how to find the creature if the school were ever to adopt a brawling class.

How has your mutation changed your plans for the future?

Surprisingly, yes. Where there once was a sense of confusion and fear for which path to choose, there is now just a relentless desire to purge the weak from society and lead the living to a new dawn of power. That, or maybe a well paying management position. Whichever has better benefits.
